I think you're right, John. I think I've seen more tap in bowlers than top hats. I have a friend who is a dancer who was telling me she had seen tap dancers once and added tap to her already incredibly varied dance repertoire, and though I can't remember the names now, I'm sure she was referring to the Nicholas Brothers.
