My experience at Red Roof Inn last year was that the room was clean but musty. Hmm, maybe if I go to Yankee Candle first for the scented candle.. .

The Holiday Inn in Hadley is located at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 116. There is also a Howard Johnson's Express there as well. There is a mall and multiplex theatres about 1 mile toward the west and one of the area's best diners is less than a mile away toward the east.

To get to YC from either hotel, just take Route 116 north to the intersection with Route 5 (about 20 minutes) and turn right onto Route 5 north. You will then see the Exxon/Mobil station/convenience store on your left, then the Red Roof, then YC all in rapid succession.

Let me know if anyone has questions about the local area...
