This will likely start a lively discussion. There is another thread going on this. I would go/am going with the owner's manual instructions, for the first 1200 miles, under 4500 rpm, under 95 mph. Very your speeds, after the first 1200 miles you can ramp up your rpm's.

Think about it, this car comes with a good warrantee and maintenance agreement, why risk that by not following the manufacturer's break-in (run-in) procedure?


I am up around 700 miles now and the engine seems to be running in just fine.
