My brakes began squealing about two months ago, and I took it in to the shop fearing that I had been hard on the brakes (autocrossed a few times) and worn them down prematurely. They told me the same thing that pocketrocket reports; glazing - comes with the stop & go driving we experience in heavy traffic. A couple of hard stops and my brakes no longer squeal. |
