Thanks for your thoughts Chris and Jax, only a couple of days before we fly out, Monday afternoon to be exact.
We can only thank everyone here in the UK for making us welcome in the Mini club, casting our minds back to last year and our first run, which was the Wrekin run organised by the Hickster , we approached the run with some trepidation, not knowing anyone, how fast was it going to be, will we be made welcome, will people like our car and many other thoughts. Well all I can say is we did the first run and had a ball
, never in our imagination did we think there would be so many Mini fanatics
We were hooked, the cameraderie between Mini owners is fantastic for any newbies coming here to Mini2 I recommend doing the runs, the people you meet are freindly and and most of all they will love your car as much as you do
We will still be here on Mini2 for long a long time to come and as soon as we get to Australia and set up again will be blasting around Perth in Mellow Yellow, thanks to Roland for the work on the car, it is fantastic having 230 horses under the bonnet and to all thinking of an upgrade consider GT Tuning they are great.
Finally the worse thing about moving is not having Mellow Yellow for about 8 weeks
she got loaded up the other day and we are having withdrawl already, oh well she will be reunited with us soon.
Well it's been loads of fun here in the UK and we will continue with the runs in Perth but not on the scale of the runs here, 80+ cars on the Cotswolds last year. Anyone we have met on the runs have an open invitation to visit if you are ever down our neck of the woods, hope to see you sometime.
