oh and I forgot the guy I've really been following over the last couple years... Dr. Ronald Mallett a professor of Physics at Univ of Conn... One day I'd like to meet him and talk about some of his research (if I had to place money on anyone who will crack the time travel dilemna, this will be the guy.. he's not like one of these hack UFO guys or whatnot, he's seriously starting to prove it is possible with his research into "frame dragging and the formation of closed time loops by the gravitational field of circulating light.")

Intereststing stuff..

http://temporology.bio.msu.ru/EREPORTS/mallett.pdf

"For the strong gravitational field of a circulating cylinder of light, I have found new exact solutions of the Einstein field equations for the exterior and interior gravitational fields of the light cylinder. The exterior gravitational field is shown to contain closed timelike lines [R. L. Mallett, "The gravitational field of a circulating light beam," Foundations of Physics 33, 1307 (2003)]. The presence of closed timelike lines indicates the possibility of time travel into the past. This creates the foundation for a time machine based on a circulating cylinder of light."

and yes.. I do actually understand this article..

Stop the world, I wanna get off!!!
