As for your car's status, if the ship has sailed on your car doesn't have a "loaded on vessel" status, then it was bumped and it's still sitting on the pier. I'm afraid its the same old Southampton crapshoot that we all know and love. They don't seem to follow a strict FIFO (first in first out) policy there, I don't know if they just load whatever's closest to the boat or what. My first MINI was at Southampton for 2.5 weeks, it was booked five times (original booking, then bumped four times) before it finally got on a ship. Cars arrived at the port a week after mine and went right on board, while mine sat on the pier. This time, my car was the one that jumped the queue, it was loaded 16 hours after arriving in port, while others in my booking had been there two weeks and still got booked. Trying to find rhyme or reason in it is pointless.

So just keep checking, very shortly your car should show up as booked on a different ship, and hopefully you'll make it on this time!
