Hi Obe, I think freezing discs in liquid Nitrogen or Helium although effectivly hardening them (which will make them last longer) may reduce the friction ? Its the wearing of the disc as well as the pad that gives the abrasive pads like DS3000 & Black Hawk incredible (though messy ) stopping power.
Steve tried some on a Honda a while ago and said he felt like the discs were made of glass.
I personally havn't tried it, I know its a popular treatment for many things from gun barrels to trombones on your side of the pond.
BTW Syphon the reservoir almost to the bottom, refill with 5.1, then bleed through.
