There'scertainly nothing wrong with your method. You wont need to polish everytime. Just wash and apply another layer of NXT.
NXT is technically a cleaner wax, although it's cleaners are very very mild. A lot of people use NXT topped with Poorboys Nattys Blue for Red's, Blues and Blacks.
The NXT gives a very reflective finish and I find it doesn't offer much long lasting protection. The Nattys helps create a deeper shine and can be spit shined for even better results and longer lasting finish.
