Yes. ABS and ASC/DSC warning lights came on, both steady yellow (forgot to mention that in my original posting). According to the user manual, solid yellow indicates "check as soon as possible" and "Please have the system inspected at your MINI dealer". Assurance is also given that "conventional braking efficiency is available".

A poster on NAM referred to a service bulletin recomending that the fuse for this curcuit be changed out to one with a lower amperage rating.
