Test that I've seen on the repellent products showed they barely repelled anything.
Changing out stock pads to aftermarket ones (cost me only $75 for a full set of mintex pads) works amazingly well. They go weeks instead of days.

As for a body shop, I hope everyone would agree to recommend Sublime.
