Hey guys! This is my first post.

My parents will be giving me (hopefully!) as a present a MINI One D late this year. I live in Portugal and a petrol MINI is completely out of the equation seeing as it's more expensive and petrol prices are up the roof and climbing.

I've seen the picture of the R56 in the Autocar site, the one with the blue R56 with no masking (can't post links, since I haven't made 5 posts yet lol), and I've fallen in love with that new front. The new interior ir also crazy cool!

Knowing that the new diesel engine will most likely be the 110hp 1.6 HDi, and the manufacturing costs of the R56 will go down a bit, do you think the prices (at least for the diesel version) will be lower/the same or will they go up?
That will make all the difference between getting the current one or waiting for the R56, seeing as the price for the basic MINI One D is already the limit my parents are accepting.
