I was at MotD this year and agree that there were too many cars.
Many people didn't seem to get the idea that the Dragon is also US129 and the main commuting route between Robbinsville NC and Marysville TN. There was at least one incident of boyracers being rude to someone who only exceeded the speed limit a little bit.
It's beautiful country and the twisties can be fun but for challenging driving, take it to the track.
