So yesterday I noticed something: It's been over 13 months, 18,000 miles since my last oil change. My indicator still says 2500 miles remaining till service (even though I am now at 30500 mi). Shouldn't it have me going in now! I understand a few hundred miles off but that much, and that long?
Yesterday's gas/cold start talk I commented that I thought it was just due to the old oil that I knew I had, but I couldn't remember just how old, so last night I dug through all my service paperwork and updated it to my
car log file and realized it's been much longer than I thought!
