Well I had the most fan-TASTIC day! For once, the jet-lag worked in my favor, and I was up bright and early. This allowed me to get a nice start on my drive. First stop: Mt. St. Helens. Man, what an awesome and humbling experience to be standing in front of that thing, just knowing what it's capable of. When I finished up there, I started driving back and decided I'd swing over to Mt. Rainier. I was very pleased to find out that they're open 24 hours! Thats gotta be some sight, seeing that massive peak bathed in moonlight. It was a pretty strange feeling to have a t-shirt on (and I wish I had brought shorts with me - it was 80 today!) and be walking in snow. Just got in an hour ago, and it was still light out! The sun seems to take a long time to set up here. Filled up my 1GB memory card, so I'll have my hands full sorting through those and uploading them. If I do nothing for the rest of this trip I'll be happy. What an awesome day. Now, I need to get to bed. I actually have to do some work tomorrow
