The up side: It's closer to Montréal. Just a straight shot up I87 / autoroute 15.

The down side: It's Plattsburgh.

But if you're planning to spend all your waking time up in Poutineville, go for it, stay in Plattsburgh It's as good a place as any to lay down your head, every town looks the same with your eyes closed. Otherwise, plan to get to know the good people of LCT on the Cumberland Head - Grand Isle run so you can get down to BTV during your non-F1 time...

Inside the hairpin in section 34 is the "best bang for your buck", in terms of quality viewing. That's where The Gavinator and I will be (as well as George from my Monday Night Hockey group and Jason's SCCV stuff. We'll deputise George to carry the Cadbury). Of course section 34 is already sold out, but a couple of the other hairpin sections are still open...
