The window motor should be more than powerful enough to activate the window against any dirt that may be on the window rubber. Mine has even broken my window loose when it was frozen shut.
When you attempt to activate the window, do you hear the motor turning? Does the window even try to move a little bit?
If you can hear the motor humming merrily away but the window does not move, you are going to have a faulty window regulator.
If the motor does not activate at all, there may be a problem with the toggle switch panel, the motor, the wiring, etc. |
