i don't see the point in getting a jcw and then tuning it. why not go standard mcs and spend a grand on it getting the power up. I'd go as new and as lower mileage as you can. Don't get suckered into paying over the tops for additional extras. I think you will do better than those listed

2003 MINI Cooper S 1.6,
19200 miles, Very low milage, full Leather, Sat Nav, TLC pack, Chilli Pack, Climate control, Electric Win & Mirr, Remote Central Locking Alarm & Immobiliser, ABS, DSC, Twin Airbags, Roof Spoiler, Front Foglights. no marks, very looked after.. £11,000

Enlarge2003 MINI COOPER S, 53 reg.
8900 miles, 3 door, 6 speed manual, panoramic glass roof, chilli pack, black leather, 17 alloy wheels, private sale. £10,000

Enlarge2004 MINI COOPER S 1.6 3dr Hatchback,

MFSW, Factory CD with IceLink+ iPod I/F, TLC, Spotlights, heated mirrors & washerjets, AirCon, garaged since new, house buy forces reluctant sale. NO CANVASSERS. £12,250. ono
