Just sidetracking this slightly but I am interested. Howcome so many systems are now being based on a greater number of speakers? I dropped out of following the Ice thing a few years back but was it not something to do with installing different speakers to cater for different sound ranges so you get a better quality sound? I just remember someone explaining speaker pods a few years back but I cannot remember the detail......

Would like to know how it works - I got the harmon kardon in the current motor and you can tell the difference in sound quality. How could I emulate this in a GP two speaker system without doing a major install? Head unit & speakers?
