| Joogle, you are probably reffering to the 10, 12, 18-speaker Bose systems and the like that the premium manufacturers will brag about. Many of them do it but it's just silly. There is just no need.
And, yes, of course, component speaker systems are better - that's not what I meant by saying there is no need for more than 2 speakers.
I'll revise: There's no need for more than two sets of component speakers and a sub.
