My Cooper S is now a week old and I'm constantly catching the front bumper on speed bumps and small changes in gradient (pulling on/off drive). Even at very low speeds (5-10mph) it still catches and is bending back the plastic splitter at the bottom of the bumper. I have swapped the 17" bullet alloys for some 18" with 215/35/18 tyres. The ride height should be pretty much the same so why is this happening all the time ?

My mate has had an MCS for 3 years and doesn't have this problem. Anyone else having same problem ?
