Hi Lorien,
I would use one of those companies that advertise in the back of the Top Gear style mags - cant remember their names, but you know, with the protective see through film.
Good point about the "masks" that they use, but the most important piece to protect long term is the bonnet, which is the same standard shape. So they only have to do the front bumper from scratch.

You might even get a deal off them if its the first car - then they can advertise that the car is supported.

They are expensive, but well worth it. Its always painfull when you get your first stone chip. If its a car you really treasure and want to keep long term, then its worth the investment. You have to do it when the car is new though.... otherwise, all you have is regrets and chips.
