| Beware some rolling road figures as they can be a bit wild. Example is that recently someone went on a RR with a 220-230ish car and it RR'd at 252bhp (Partly as it was a cold day and partly because they were using a forced induction blower tube with ice cold air right onto the intercooler) Most rolling road figures are not real world figures...good for comparing the same car stock and after mods but not too much use IMO for anything else.
My car RR'd 203 on the same day (supposedly a stock S 163bhp) on a 7200 rev limit so there could be a 200 or so BHP map from MTH or such on it...who knows but it goes to show that the results can be a bit hit and miss. |
