Don't worry I have contacted my dealer to try and sort this out at my end.

I have spoken to my dealer a couple of times recently and both times they have confirmed that I will be getting 0142.

I called them again today to make sure that there hasn't been any confussion.

They have admitted that there was an initial mix up with my allocation. I had been allocated their dealer demo car (0400) which was due to be delivered later than my order but this was sorted out with Mini HQ a while ago.

They are still saying that I will be getting 0142 in the first week of August. I have asked that they check again and confirm by E mail my allocation number.

I will let you know once I hear from them.

I too will be very annoyed if 0142 it is not a unique number.
