I was disappointed that the indicator "ticking" noise has been changed. It's no longer "classic mini like", and is a more conventional, even hollow click, click, click noise.

I really liked that touch with the current MINI.

The toggles in both banks on the prototypes had no lights on the ends like the current model, another nice touch gone.

The DSC button (and sport mode etc) are in front of the gear lever now, in a small cluster of three buttons.

The roof liner has been changed a little and gives the impression of more room.

Rear seats are much more comfortable than the current rear seats.
