In a word, no.
Either get a new one from your dealer or remove them, sand down, prime, spray and lacquer in a colour of your choice.
The second option is better especially if you use a lot of layers of lacquer as it will provide a more hardy finish.
If you want to go totally mad you could also use a fine polish, sealant and wax at the end to get a totally smooth and shiney finish. It was acceptable in the 80's |
