I will report on the firmware issue tomorrow, I assume it will be the latest, bought the kit 2 weeks ago. Strange that it did work and all other functions are perfect. Is there a way to reload the software (to reload / repair) the firmware. I do not know how to put that. It was the next thing I wanted to try. I am not sure if it may have been corrupted when I tried to setup the text display on the H/U. I have contacted the local agent, they have no idea. Apart from the menu problem I am extemely satisfied with the Ice Link Plus. I installed a Ice Link FM on the Scenic because I was told that the Plus does not work on Scenic 1's - I was not happy with it - low volume, signal break trhough etc. Then tried a Plus for a Scenic 2 and it works brilliantly on the Scenic 1 - even the menu works and even simpler to install than on the Mini. |
