I would say that the performance of the new car will be considerably better. It's only 5bhp up on the old one but with 240Nm of torque from 1600rpm and more on overboost it's going to be much more civilised to drive and quicker from low rpm's. Like a turbodiesel but it'll still rev right round to 7000. I like the character of the supercharger but it feels sluggish at low rpm's. Plus the fuel economy's going to be way better than my
MCSC which is costing me a fortune at 27mpg!
