| Even Worse is seeing Red Lights in the Mirror
For the Thanksgiving Holiday a friend and I drove the MINI up to Chicago. Along the way we stopped in Cairo IL. While driving around this very small town just being tourists. I looked in the rear view mirror to find Flashing Red Lights (I was sure I missed a stop sign or was of course speeding).
The cops get out the their car and come up and say " I didn't mean to scare you, but my wife saw one of those in Paducah, KY and just wanted to know how you like it."
Of course I told him I love it even though it does draw an endless amount of attention. He even gave us a police escort through town to the big attraction, the Custom House.
I can't believe how many people are so forward in asking all about the car, and how much it cost. But it gives great stories to tell about people. |
