Not really that much of a comparison either but I have a MCS not JCW and im 22 with 2 years no claims, been driving for 4 in a good postcode with no points on my licence. Its £666 with direct line, I'm not superstitious but I wasnt keen on that price but the cheapest I could find. I think it was around £800 for a MCS JCW but I would have thought yours would be around £450 dependnig on your postcode. I have always found Tesco, Direct Line and Elephant to be the cheapest but I'd do a search on this fourm if you go with Elephant as there is a clause in their insurance as to options.

I think it is somewhere along the lines of they make you pay more when you declare options but wont reflect them if you have to make a claim, eg in a write off situation.

You definately wont regret a Mini tho, have you driven one yet? Are you after the current version or the new one thats coming out soon?
