It was my good fortune to spend about an hour with her in the late 80's. I volunteered to pick her up and drop her off at Bradley Airport for her presentation to a Springfield area DPMA meeting. We had a great drive to an from the airport ("I'll provide the conversation; you drive the car!"). She was a hot ticket and had a very unique wit that did, at times, border on philosophy, but most often was intended to tear the "establishment" and "conventional thinking" into shreds.

My favorite Hopper quote was: "We went overboard on management and forgot about leadership. It might help if we ran the MBAs out of Washington."

I still have the wire "nanosecond" she gave me.
