I would have to say my primary motivation for hanging about this forum so much is that in the last year and a bit I have become enraptured by all things Mini; the cars, the events, the extended global family, the people. I do think that Mini owners are a real phenonomen by virtue of their love of the car; I don't think that there is a parallel with any other brand. A second reason for coming on here would be that I despise your stereotypical know-nothing-about-the-product, in-it-for-the-buck type of salespeople, and I try to stay as knowledgable as possible - there is no better place to learn anything about the cars than here. Why make crap up when you can tell the truth? Maybe someday, if there were less shifty barstewards in the biz, when I tell people what I do they won't take two steps back
