Top speed runs not only risk your license & life but your engine too. A modified engine is more likely to blow under these conditions than any other ,irrespective of the tuner or model of car. (though perhaps even more likely on a supercharged or turbocharged car as the gains over stock are greater). Use fuel thats not quite as good as it should be (octane) and you double the already high chance of blowing the engine up. (specifically destroying No1 piston & the engine block). Fortunatly we have not experienced this with our conversions yet, though other Mini tuners customers cars have gone this way.- Yes even

If you have to do it (even once) add a high strentgh mix of Alden octane booster or similar. By contrast a hard blast to 100mph in the first 4 gears then holding it at 100mph on LIGHT throttle all day (if you like) is perfectly OK. Customer education is an important part of the service we provide and ensures these things dont happen (unless you ignore it of course)
