I've now removed the horrible run-flats on mine, and what a difference it's made. The steering now tells me what the car is doing!

I've gone down the tyre weld route with mine. But to be honest, I think I may purchase a mini space saver spare wheel. That tyre weld stuff is ok, if you catch the puncture soon enough. I've had one before though that ripped the tyre to shreds on the motorway. If that happened to me now, i'd have to call the RAC.

All that hassle when you could have a spare on in less than 15 minutes.
But if you have that mini assistance thingy, then maybe that won't bother you too much.
