From everything I have read about fuels it wont make any difference to performance unless the engine has been mapped to that RON. I read the JCW was mapped to Optimax (98 RON) so V-Power wont make any difference. I certainly didnt notice any difference on the weekend running V-Power over my usual BP Ultimate. Mechanic told me the car would just retard the ignition with higher RON fuel.
Would be interesting to get dual maps, one for 99 V-Power and 102 BP Ultimate. Switch to the 102 map and see if it really makes a difference. |
