I think that very few clubs are truly MINI-friendly as there will always be someone who doesn't like the MINI, and their voice tends to be louder. "Tolerated" is probably a better word.

I joined the British Mini Club a few years back, but didn't renew. Although outwardly friendly, when it boiled down to it I felt that in spite of their name they were really a regional club, i.e. West Midlands. Also, they seem to be a bit more of a business rather than a genuine club.
