| Not so new product review ahead-
So i was looking at my less than a year old iPod and noticed 3 rather large scratches going across the screen. It seems that the #1 problem is trying to keep these things from getting scratched. I have it in a polycarbonate cover now but it was after the scratches were acquired. So I decided to do some research for the greater good. I had seem the blogs about using Brasso on the iPod (this scared me for a few reasons (although it seems to work)) others recommend a commercially available product called ice creme. I ordered said ice creme and waited patiently to see if it worked. The directions say that you will have to "work" with the iPod for 20-60 minutes (it's true). For iBook's 1-3 hours. It's an easy process once you find the right amount of pressure to apply. My iPod looks brand new.
Reading the other uses I instantly thought of the watch Louis bought for me in Vegas (it was scratched within a day) . Fixed it right up with the ice creme. Told Louis that I would work on his 2G iPod (yes they still work!) It looks brand new. This stuff is great! "Buy you a soda after the game?" |
