Springs is fine. Many folks fit either Eibach or KW 30mm or 35mm drop respectively with no issues. You can have other parts changed to make the setup even better but it improves the handling and looks even without those extra things. The Coilovers are worth doing if your going for a track racer but on a road car they are not nessesary, but are a very nice option.
It all boils down to your money, your choice.
