Dealers cannot sell over list on new cars as that is a breach of the franchise rules. But as already pointed out with used cars its a case of supply & demand. The GP is in demand so therefore attracts a premium. There is nothing wrong with this. (Apart from it being priced out of the real Mini fans price range........)
What you should be asking is what did the sellers get for their cars..........
