I spoke to Scotthall Borehamwood today about this as I have the same dilemma about whether to buy TLC XL. They contacted BMW and BMW said you can buy TLC XL only if you buy it before the next service of the car after the TLC pack. Also I was told you can only buy the TLC XL pack if your car has done less than 50k.

I asked them how much the services cost, and I was told the labour itself for Inspection II and oil change was more than £300 (as labour costs £132 per hour

). So I'm buying the TLC XL next week!
