I've read many a review on the R56 and there seems to be a general consensus among pretty much every journalist; the sports suspension on the R56 is a bit too stiff, the better option is the std. suspension setup. Not my opinion as I have yet to sample either, but having driven cars w/ stiff suspension setups ( E92 335i, E46 M3, W203 C55), it will only be "too stiff" if it's as hard as the E46 M3's, which can be spine crushing on the right pavement.
