That's a downer but also the sort of information I was looking for so either I'm into May before I leave or I do the trip in the reverse order going across east to west on the southern route and returning on the northern route. It's going to be a long winter but once again, thanks for the information. I'm becoming more and more determined to do this and now my brother has agreed to fly over from England to go with me so yesterday I picked up a Garmin GPS system, something I've never even seen operate before and I'm very impressed. This trip is the excuse I needed to justify it. |
