Hey, gang, I did the ride again from Livermore to the Junction, but instead of heading up to the observatory, went east out to Patterson. It, too, was a really nice ride, but kind of different. The road was kind of windy, but not twisty, which meant that there was more of an opportunity to carry speed in the not-quite-so-severe turns. I'd definitely recommend it.
Of course, it ends up in Patterson on I-5, which doesn't have the views that the top of Mt. Hamilton had, but it was still a nice drive.
