I am really surprised at the skill of Bergeron given his age. It seems that hockey skill is something you're born with and it is not something that you can cultivate and turn into a career.
If I played hockey I would play D. I wouldn't be a goalie (although that is the best position on the ice) but I want to be in the mix of things and pressureing the forwards and making them get off their game. I played ball some ball hockey in gym class (living in MD we aren't afforded a hockey team so i had to rely on the times that we played ball hockey. It was brutal (for the other players). They couldn't get a shot off and I was always in their face. We had a very competitive gym class (most of them were on the field hockey team (that was a fun game too-it's only slashing if you get caught

-I was able to put the smack down on all the popular girls in school with a whack of that useless stick (and the wooden ball I would launch at the goalies (they'd always move that ball was hard))

.
I completely understand about Thornton. I was just kidding (a little). It seems that the trade was lopsided though (wasn't he the #1 points leader or at least up there?) a very Caps thing to do. I think that the Bruins (like the Caps) will be good in a couple of seasons. They've got a good goalie in Timmy and the forwards are all pretty good (Bergeron is definately the star). They've got a pretty good D (they have the ability to frustrate the other team. I think it's all just got to click and they've got to settle down and then they'll be in the running for the cup. I think they have a pretty young team and they are trying to find their way.
Who wrote the schedule? The B's play the Leafs 3 times in 2 weeks!! Wierd
