I had this problem on my old 2002 MCS, which was sorted under warranty by my local dealer, & so far have not had it occur on my facelift 2004 MCS. Attached is the Letter sent out to MINI owners in USA

cheers for all the advice as its MUCH appreciated! i am open to ANY suggestions on how to do this properly and if anyone wishes to help then please feel free to do so! ive never commisioned a petition before so apologise for asking for peoples personal details on a forum site.
if people would like to be added to a petition letter then email me through MINI2.COM and i will try to knock out a letter. or if you would rather help with the letter then feel free to do so? if you could attach it to THIS forum so we can all read them then choose the best to use in the petition and add the names emailed to me afterwards?
