Does that include the new speedo? 700 sounds about standard for the parts; it is the install that is the killer.
It sounds like you are really wanting the OEM version. (I have it in my car as well)
If you do get one, make sure that it is a MK4 (DVD) model. Coding for europe is really easy as it is the default and the unit can be rolled back by you rather than the dealer.
