I just got my baby back last night after 2 days away to replace some passenger seat parts that were rattling along with my windscreen washer pump, it was taking too long to prime when empty and some other little rattles. They gave me a nice 318i snooze mobile as a loaner, BE CAREFUL my fellow MINI owners with these loaners. Your bottom can get used to sitting in soft squidgy seats again, you left foot will go to sleep and waste away and the only way to tell that the motor is on is the fact that your moving and the tacho reads 5800 rpm (that's about the cutout by the way unlike my MCS's raucos 7000rpm)You'll get your MINI back and be very glad but it takes a couple of hours to get that left leg working on the clutch again and to shake off the BMW cardigan feeling, those buttons are specially engineered and machined to stay done up forever.

Cheers
Jase

02 MCS gone after 2 years of fun and new friends, and 10 visits to the service dept at Brisbane BMW.
You don't know the meaning of practical until you've owned a Camry! (seriously it's not a bad car though )
