The wagon is a ripper. When I worked my first season in the ski fields in 1988 my room mate had a mid 70's MINI wagon that he had restored and spec'd up to Cooper S level. The motor was tricked up to I don't know what and he had recaro seats in it the front. We used to squeeze 6 guys and our skis into that baby and do 100km/h + most of the way to Thredbo. It was a blast!

One night he & I met a bunch of girls at a pub in Jindabyne and talked them into coming back to our place, all 5 of them piled in the back of the mini through the double doors and we where off until a copper pulled us over as we had a rear tyre that was apparently going flat. He pulled us over and commented on the MINI and how good it looked he said he'd give us a hand to change the tyre. He couldn't see the girls as the tint on the windows was very dark plus the were all frosted up and they were being very good & quiet. As he opened the back doors to get the jack he said "my my boys what have we here? Ok girls you can all get out and I'll drop you home in the troop carrier and you boys can stay here and change the tyre" THANKS COPPER! That could have been our lucky night!

So yes callun the MINI wagons are tops, that little bit of extra room comes in handy.
Cheers
