If you are trying to remove the HU, you can simply angle the down tubes out to get to the bolts. However, if you need to remove the center portion of the console, you have four screws holding it down.

Two located in each cup holder and two that are located under the little panel that has the switch for the mirrors and heated seats.

The easiest way to get that switch box up to get to the screws is to pull up the gear shift boot.

Once you get the screws out, then you can slide the center console back and it will come loose.

Innovation doesn’t come from following the same path over and over.
