| Well, I just turned off auto sync, and iTunes wiped the iPod completely. Then I turned on auto sync again and iTunes is currently copying everything on to the iPod again - and this time it lists the new playlist in iPod, suggesting it will work ...
And yes Gavin, it did a firmware update last night - but it's been wanting to for a week or two; I waited so that others might find issues and they'd fix them. No idea if it's that firmware or something else ... there's also the fact that this PC is newish and maybe I haven't updated the music library since I got the new PC.
Perhaps it updates the podcasts OK but not the music because it thinks it "belongs" to a different computer?
